University Research and Creative Achievement Program (URCAP)

The University Research and Creative Achievement Program (URCAP) is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate student creative activity across disciplines.  The annual event – University Research and Creative Achievement Day (URCAD) – allows students to showcase their research via oral and poster presentations. Our campus community is invited to attend sessions, ask questions, and recognize our students’ accomplishments in creative activity.

Several ֱ economics students have presented their research at URCAD. In 2019, Edward Szalan presented his undergraduate honors thesis entitled “Orthodox and Unorthodox Economics: Evaluating the 1973 Oil Crisis Through the Lens of Three Different Disciplines of Economics.”
