Applying for Admission
Application deadlines:
Fall admission - June 15
Spring admission - November 1
Summer admission - March 15.
For consideration, applicants must submit the following:
- A completed online application with supplemental materials (ccsu.edu/apply):
- Proof of a minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
- Proof of possession of, or eligibility for, a Connecticut teaching certificate.
- Two letters of recommendation from school administrators.
- Essay about:
- Reason for pursuing this certificate.
- Future career goals
- Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from regionally accredited institutions of higher education:
- Master’s level degree
- GPA of at least 3.00 on all post-baccalaureate coursework
Applicants must participate in a group interview led by educational leadership faculty.
